While I question weather posting here helps LL to get a feel for public perception of their current version (1.13.3.2) I feel I should post my feelings on it anyway. As far as I'm concerned, SL has been all but unplayable since the last update. Average FPS rates have fallen drastically since the last version and movement is difficult, especially rotating the camera's point of view as is real time chat.

I suggest that in the future more attention be paid to keeping the basic foundation of a user's ability to interact with the environment from being compromised.

The Lindens don't care

Theyre busy reading the reviews in the press.

No need to have a working product.

I'm not sure that it's the client... it seems ok off peak. But every day seems to bring a new peak concurrency 1,000 AVs higher than the previous day. Right now the entire grid is lagging to hell with major packet loss, as far as I can see; yet there's no blog entries and nothing from LL to say they will fix the problem any time soon. I find myself spending time on Xbox because SL isn't worth it - I'm losing interest in SL because the environment is going down hill and LL don't seem to be doing anything about it.

To clarify - maybe they are doing something about trying to get the grid to catch up with 30,000 connections, but what about 40,000? 50,000? What are they doing to get ahead of the curve so we don't simply have lag this bad in 3, 5, 10 days' time?

It seems obvious that their current implementation doesn't scale well enough. So they have to either curtail the concurrency, or do some major work. Either would be a worthwhile announcement. At the moment, as far as the population knows, we're looking forward to a future of decreasing functionality and performance.

Time for a stop...

31,784 people online at one point... and nothing worked. People are paying for stuff they cannot use because the client cannot handle all the people the Lindens are so desprately trying to get. I rezzed 5 items today, 2 appeared, 3 others seem to be gone forever. Perhaps its time for the Lindens to stop pushing forward faster then this system is capable of doing, and stop for a long long time and fix the current problems. Because if I cant use what I am paying for, well I am not going to pay SL anything anymore.

Trying to stay in SL

With me, SL Is crashing on an average of 4-5 times a day since the last update.
That is on top of it running so slowly you start walking, but don't move, then in an instant you are almost in the next SIM.

Then on top of that, the Error Logger just gets stuck on Transmitting Data but never closes! Are LL getting any of these messages, I am begining to wonder.
