Alpha Textures Super Broken

There used to be a minor issue with alpha textures where you could see certain things through them. Now they are transparent depending on angle. All my wallpapers with windows on them look horrid. You can see through the whole building. Even some of my non-transparent targa textures are messed up now. As a low prim prefab builder this puts me out of business.

Hmmm.
Yes, I have noticed this.
For an easy way to verify this for any who doubt:
go to the library folder, then to objects, then to the atol continent folder. Some of the atol houses show this in spades. Not all, but some do.

And along the same lines, hair textures (blond ones) are really messed up. They too, are alpha textures. It was so nice seeing blonds around in world, but it looks like black is back.

I realised yesterday while recolouring my ponies, that they look white in certain light? and they are sposed to be pink...

Yeah and the blond ones used to just flutter when they overlapped, but now they're REALLY messed up. They show the outline of the shape of the head underneath, and do all sorts of crazy stuff. Damn, that's what I was afraid of. My animated (animated transparent texture) wings haven't quite worked right since 1.6 and I'm pretty sure that it's the same thing...

There is a bug with animated textures on attachments. I think they are aiming to nail this one down for the upcoming 1.6.1 patch.

From: Tiger Crossing There is a bug with animated textures on attachments. I think they are aiming to nail this one down for the upcoming 1.6.1 patch. There may be a bug with animated textures in general... Tires are cars and motorcycles don't work right/at all now.
