The inventory search highlight is nifty however... After doing a search, all folders are expanded and the inventory is scrolled tothe top, great. Scroll down and collapse a few folders. Now change the focus to the world, chat bar, or anywhere else. Next, go back to the inventory window... Oops, the folders all expand themselves and the window scrolls back to the top! This is not expected or useful behavior . Please maintain the folder state and scroll position through focus changes.

I agree! Prevoiusly, a search found what you were looking for, and pressing "Clear" left the cursor on the found item or folder. Now, the CLEAR button is gone, and deleting the search term by hand, so I can get INTO a found folder for example that has something I want in it, puts the cursor focus back at the top of the inventory somewere. So now I can look for that folder manually, and then get the contents I want. Very much a reduced functionality, and very irritating. PLEASE get it back as it was!

The functionality of this button should still be here--it's called "Show" now, and it's in the same space. Does that work for you?

Uno... getting to that. I think I almost managed to repro that upon a fresh login. But, I couldn't get it to reliably happen afterwards--Rick, can this consistently be done over and over? Please expand steps if possible so I can follow through with that. I hope you already sent a bug report too.

I share this trivia as I find it... it's often through experimentation. Maybe oneday it'll be formalized in better documents that are easily accessible to everyone.

You are fantastic, Torley (not just because of this). As an aside: I hope you get more time on the Linux Alpha Forum, that would be a great way of letting us know, that a Linden is looking out for us, but I am delighted that you have visited us at all. Come again soon!

heh, nevermind, apparently it's either an issue specific to me or it's not bothering anyone else. I don't think I can explain the steps any better :/. Not a huge problem though, not causing me serious inconvenience.
