No more updates, we want maintenance!

Please. How hard is it to understand? Look at what you customer base is telling you, screaming at your face. Enough of the updates already. All they seem to create is more problems than benefits. I, for one, would be happy to see the weekly breaks turn into ACTUAL maintenance work. I wouldn't mind the downtime, if it was used to fix the problems, make the platform playable, enjoyable once more.

You have a huge pile of bugs to be fixed. Why don't you start clearing up that pile and leave the cool new features on the back burner for a while? I fear we're headed down into our demise the way things are going. I didn't say you are, I said we: you LL, me, the other residents of SL; we're all in this together, and things need to change. LL, you are the only ones who can steer to ship to clear waters now. We're counting on you, please don't fail us.

to a different sim, you have to wait about 4 minutes
for your most basic avatar to rez after the sim does?

God Mia you took the words right out of my mouth. Give us a world that works. I dont ask for much for my money, just like to be able to walk across my land. Like not to see grey people. like to fly across a sim line with out diving into the ground. Dont need any more features just make the ones we have work. Would like my alt to be able to set home to land set to the group they are an officer of. Used to be able to do this. Would love to see green grass again instead of grey all over for ever. Would love to see the same thing as my partner when on the dance balls, i see one dancing she sees one standing or vice versa, or we both see each other dancing an a third party says one is standing still. And just today friends have said "oh are you here? not showing on my friends list " STILL...

I created a petition (in my signature) in the hopes people will sign it to get an idea of the numbers of people who are pissed off by all of this, and want bug fixes and performance improvements rather than new features, bugs and downtime. Feel free to sign it and pass the link to friends

In the absence of any chance that a half sensible Linden will reply - I will.

The reason that the ever increasing horde of bugs aren't tackled is something called 'The Tao of Linden'.

A development system that worked quite well while LL was in the earlier stages of developing SL - and which is totally unsuited to SL's current state.

Until Philip realises that, SL will continue its slow spiral toward destruction.

You aren't going to get many sigs on a petition that requires both your RL name and your SL name my friend

I can't change that =(
But it only shows names when you sign the petition, afterwards it hides them. I think as the creator I can go back, but people are free to just supply their SL name in both fields.
