Stability: About an 8 out of 10, tends to crash when attempting to do too much.

Hardware: Compaq Presario V6000Z Notebook
AMD Turion 64 2ghz
1GB DDR2 ram
nVidia GeForce Go 6150 128MB DDR2 (Shared)
80GB SATA 5400RPM HDD
Conexant Audio
Vista Home Premium 32-bit

First Look is more unstable, about a 6 out of 10, useable.
Framerates: About 17fps in the sky with standard client, about the same with First Look

Noticed Bugs: Other than the occasional unexplainable or unduplicable crash, talking will occasionally result in the player's comment being displayed in the Chat as if posted twice. Not observed during IM sessions. Graphically, no glitches noticed.

I hate to say it and it is truly unfortunate but laptops will always have more stability issues with high load programs than desktops, that being said I'm impressed that it's working on that. Quick question though, for the info you gave about bugs, stability, and glitching using windowed or full screen and were you using standard interface or aero since that could make a big difference?

Was running Fullscreen, in 1024x768 and 800x600 in different situations, even tried under 1280x800 widescreen. Ran under Standard interface and under Aero, actually seems to run a bit better under standard interface.

I have also noticed, that with the SL Original Client, when going into full screen mode, it acts like the player is constantly slowly turning to the left, on my machine. Doesn't happen under First Look, though.

There's the reason you can run SL on Vista, for us ATi users; unfortunately we have to wait for a D3D version of SL before we'll be able to run it on Vista. Otherwise it just crashes without even loading the login screen.

Stability: 10 out of 10.

I never ever crash, not even with SL, IE7, Photoshop, Illustrator, Poser all open at the same time. I even think everything runs a tad smoother with the new Nvidia driver that seems to support OpenGL better.

Of course there are the usual probs due to lag and LL-updates. But nothing related to my pc-performance with Vista.

Specs: Vista, Intel Core2 4300 @ 1.80 GHz, 2 Gb Ram, Geforce 7600 GT.

THat is actually an old bug and it does happen under the normal client and on XP.

The easiest way to trigger it is to use the UI scaling and set it to 0.80 or 0.83 or something then move your camera with the mouse, it will quite often keep moving. You can somtiems fix it by widening or shrinking the window size buyt a pixel (Well not possible in full screen).

So it's slightly random based on a few parameters it looks like. I've bug reported it frequently, Nice to see it still there :(
