Whoever had the bright idea to remove the network meters from mouselook should be put at -9999999999999999, -9999999999999999, -9999999999999999 in some sim and left there.... with 500 self-replicating cubes that have had all script delays bypassed.... before I at least knew when it was time to stop moving for a moment and let SL catch up on network traffic. I can see where thats going to go... actual LAG that is actually LAG... while I wait several minuites for network packets from 5 minuites ago to reach me. (If they do)
Okay, I found the Occlusion menu entry in the debug menu but ... it's greyed out. It has an X next to it so I assume it's ON...
Why are things suddenly appearing in front of me for me to crash into? Oh, I see, we dont REALLY get a frame rate increase, some dev got the bright idea to reset all the default options including the draw distance... the new default is half of what it used to be? Hmm... Good thing I was only walking instead of trying to use a vehicle.
I'm STILL not impressed with this patch. All of the bugs from 4 versions ago are still with us, as is the server side packet loss.
