Are we ever going to get the option, like with the mini map, to have camera controls (or movement controls I guess) stay out and in position? Something like a layout "save" option. I dunno if this is some big huge honking deal to make it happen, but EVERY time I log in, I must go get that camera pallette. I use it about 20 x's more than the mini map and yet its not considered toggleable. Please, it would be a nice, hopefully not buggy addition to my SL experience.

I'm very excited about the menuing changes for inventory and textures, they're looking good, but I'd like to chime in on shift click, control click multiple select as an option for moving, dragging and deleting to be implemented. Again, another interface "given" in just about every other piece of software out there today.

PLEASE... audio controls for the video playback ala the play/stop and volume slider for audio streams. Some of us are using outside chat programs to communicate w/other SL residents and even those (gasp!) outside SL, and when the video kicks in, as gorgeous and smoooooth as it is (in previewer at least, reality I expect will be a somewhat degraded experience when on the full grid), it's awfully LOUD! I am left w/only one volume control for both in world and outside audio. Yikes.

I wonder that some of the gripes about bug squashing might be assuaged (maybe) or assisted if there was a simple display of know bugs, what progress is being made, etc.? One often doesn't know if whatever they're seeing is a known bug or not, and maybe we're not reporting stuff you folks need to squash the nasties because we all figure you've heard about it 16,000,000 times. Then again, maybe you've heard about it enough and we can leave you alone to fix it.

The overall sense one gets out here in "just a resident" land is that bugs seem to sorta get sometimes fixed, almost as an afterthought, secondary to new (really neat stuff, often) that might bring more issues along with them. Yes, this isn't a publicly held company, but it's one that seems to thrive or die on feedback, participation and input generated by it's residents, information as a two-way street might foster a better taste in all of our mouths when updates come along.

Do you folks realized just HOW MUCH dread and trepidation is attached to knowing that an update is coming? That I pretty much count on about 3 days to 2 weeks of extremely difficult going? How tired I get of "I'm leaving" threads, and that some do? Those are my friends, customers and folks I buy from too. Oh, and your paying customers, too, aren't they?

I didn't need streaming video, I'm sure I'll enjoy an awful lot about it. I'm sure tons o'folks will make beaucoups Lindens from it. But really, I'd love to have the many items I've had wiped from my inventory and land due to asset server ^*)% back, about 8,000L over the months. That adds up to a real amount in USD, doesn't it?

Again, I'm trying to be constructive, while clear. The editing and inventory stuff, super-cool and waay overdue. There's more there to be done. Bugs...please bugs gotta go. System stability etc, needs to improve, please, please, please.

I can wait for 16,000 clubs full of streaming porn (you know that's what's gonna happen), really I can. There's enough out there on the web at large, incase you didn't know. :p

I agree with about at least half of this, although I'm not sure what the first paragraph is about.
