I never download the latest viewer when it comes up. I always let others test it first. It's been three days now and I'm ready to find out what the feedback is out there? Is version 1.18.4 doing any better or worse than the previous version?
Before the suggestions come in, I'm not interested in Nicholaz or any other 3rd party viewers. I like the way the communications window works and haven't been convinced I'd get enough benefit to justify my comfort with the LL viewer.

Works fine for me. I have been logged in for 10 hours so far today and just now crashed. Think that was a sim issue though not the client.

Strangely, for the first time, the new viewer didn't work for me. It didn't even get done installing...a handful of the last few files were corrupt...I even tried several times.

I downloaded the new view yesterday. Normally, I wait, too, to read comments etc before downloading. However, with this one, I'm not finding a lot of problems, other than "normal" SL stuff. I don't think I crashed at all on it yesterday, and was on for a total of 5-6 hours between afternoon and evening, and there were almost 52,000 logged in when I first came inworld yesterday. To be honest, I'm sometimes suprised that SL even runs on my system. It's a Dell 8250, almost 5 years old, 512 mb, and I think the graphics card is an ATI Radeon 9500 or something like that. I plan to get a new graphics card and increase my memory next month. For this particular Dell, I can "only" purchase the memory from Dell since it specifically made for the 8250. Like I said...suprised I can even run SL at all *shrugs* but I do, and almost as well as my husband runs it on his year old Alienware, with all the best (at the time) graphics and software.
