I recently reinstalled Windows XP and decided to go with Kaspersky Internet Security 7 for my anti-virus/firewall needs. SL release 1.18.5 (3) runs fine with it...until I try to activate voice. SecondLife.exe, SLVoice.exe and SLVoiceAgent.exe all excluded from Kaspersky's scans and have full access to the net through the firewall but SL won't connect to the voice server and when I close SL, SLVoice.exe's CPU usage suddenly shoots up to 92 - 99% and its RAM usage continuously increases eventually using hundreds of megs which prevents SL from closing until I manually kill SLVoice.exe in the Task Manager. The only way I've found to prevent this, short of disabling voice entirely, is to disable Kaspersky entirely which is obviously not a suitable solution at all.

Some searching found this entry https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-2269 in which the last poster described pretty much the same issue I am having but the entry is marked closed and this open entry https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-3992 in which posters also report issues with SLVoice and Kaspersky is unassigned so I am wondering if anyone has any advice or a way to get this fixed. Thanks.
