I read about the age verification, and see that owners are encourage to restrict based on it. So I thought I'd atleast see how the age verification works.

But I cannot find anywhere any reference to HOW I am supposed to age verify... no links... no tutorials... no help... nothing...

Now if I, who am really searching for this can't find it, how do they expect a big number of adults to verify themselves? and anyone to bother to flag things when noone will have access to it...

I think it's Ansche Chung, but yeah, you have to own a simulator or something to try it out.

From the blog, August 29:
"A beta of the IDV system is open initially to all estate owners from today, who are free to verify their identities. Once the beta period is complete the system will be available to all Residents. Access to Restricted parcels will be prohibited for non-verified avatars from that time."

If you are not an estate owner you can't be part of the beta. Looks pretty clear to me. Does that answer your question?

Yes but that question entered my mind too. If the sim owners are going to implement age verification do we need to verify to enter their sims. I thought it was putting the cart before the horse too. I take it we dont need to verify yet unless we are both, owner and avi using the beta grid.. Is that right or wrong? /me taps her finger on her chin wondering

Hehehe, I see no point at all in land OWNERS to verify their age. The owners should flag the land. And then the VISITORS should age verify to be able to get in.

I guess nobody will flag their land and make it impossible for normal visitors, who are unable to verify, to get in.

they are only doing land owners for testing purposes... not for practical use. They are doing it on their accounts, not locking down their land...

people realize that the age verify is still in TESTING, its not live for standard use yet.

Why is this same topic title used so often? I find it annoying. *shrugs*
