It seems since this latest update that my cache is not even performing up to the rather low standards I held it to previously.
Specifically, Every time I log on my home location is 100% grey, every surface for as far as one can pan. Now usually the textures would already be there but horribly blurry and then after a few minutes everythign would be fine.
Then if I TP to a store for a few minutes and return everythign is 100% grey again. It seems like the cache has totally dumped all my home textures while I was at the store, even though there is no way I should have loaded a gig of textures at that store.
Also, there is supposed to be some kind of prioritising going on isn't there? Isn't there supposed to be some way that we dont have to wait for our house textures from the borked server every time we are home? I mean it's our home base, it should really never leave the cache.

Yes I am having the same issues. But not only that but EXTREAMLY slow rezing of everything. Even though the sim is running at full speed and there are only 2 people in the sim it takes a few minutes for me to see everything which prior to this update it only took me 10 seconds....it was blurry if I didn't put my pointer on it and had a tendency to go blurry again shortly afterwords (depending on the situation). But now it is MUCH MUCH worse. I have never had it this slow unless I was at a event with a lot of people around and the sim was lagging. Now everything is slow to rez EVEN THOUGH there is no one around and the sim is in exclient heath (via the stats bar, the TD sim FPS, ping all look great and I am running at 20 FPS or more yet everything rezes SLOW and my connection is great). I have to say with all the bugs and slow performance this is the worst update ever. :/

With this release, I pretty much have to 'paint the world' by mousing over each textured surface and hovering long enough to assign focus to that spot. Then that one texture pops in.
On the other hand, once the texture is loaded, it stays loaded, and no-loger fuzzes out a few seconds later. I can walk around my house, get everything into focus and textured, and then spend hours close to that one location, with all object textures and avatar/clothing textures remaining intact. So at least they solved the memory leak. Once I *do* get textures loaded for the place I am at, it looks better than in has for almost the last year, for me.
But...
Teleport somewhere else, and start all over again. It's all grey.
Return home, and start all over again. It's forgotten all the textures I so painstakingly loaded before I moved and came back.
Log off and log back on, even when making sure that you have NOT cleared cache, and start all over again.
