Now, if only you'd let us change the media URL with a LSL command we'd be rocking!

The advantage would be is that we could set appropiate values in the request string and then request dynamically built pictures from the web.

For example, here's what I set my media url to:

http://www.gamingopenmarket.com/priceChart.php?symbol=SLL&type=close&w=365&h=310&volume=1

Maybe an off-site HTML rendering engine could actually take a URL as input and output such an image or hacked quicktime/flash stream.

You misunderstand (or maybe I misunderstand your misunderstanding)

That gom image is directly loaded into SL. Just click play and you get the latest updated version.
