If you use "Show Avatar" in mouselook, since the latest patch, your attachments, or your avatar, I'm not sure which, are in the wrong spot. If you look down, for example, and have a gun on your hip normally, its floating about a meter in front of your hip. My tail is impaling my stomach, my furry-feet are walking ahead of my avatar feet, you name it.

It looks more like the attachments are a bit in front of the right spot.

Nods, I use view avatar in mouselook as well. All attachments are "viewable" when they should not be .. for example I see my collar at about eye level, paws and things floating about with no body(skin) attached.
Previously when i looked down (last version update).. i could see my feet (lol which is what i normally expect) ... Presently i can see my feet legs.. ok .. my shirt and collar and hands/paws but not arms (just paws floating about)..
..shrugs.. expects they will get arround to fixing it sooner or later.

I've noticed this as well, and it should definitely get a fix.

Its extremely off putting.

I've found this to be a problem ever since getting back into SL a few months ago, specifically after TPing to a new sim. Shortly after arriving in a new sim I could be walking along in mouselook, and see my avie's nose on an attached head, or parts of my collar around my neck floating infront of the camera. Usually jumping back out of mouselook, and then back to mouselook cures the problem.. but it is very annoying. Especially the collar around my neck.. why am I seeing it in first person view?! I have this issue on both the Mac and PC clients, so it's not isolated to my computer.

I think that somehow, the view perspective has been broken with the latest update:
1. As mentioned here, Avatar in Mouselook is broken 2. the Red lines around land which has access restrictions show through solid objects and right to the bottom of the screen. 3. About Land - Property boundaries are shown in the wrong place, unless in a full "top down view" (and even then, they're slightly off). 4. (This may be due to my over-active imagination) - Distant objects seem to be closer than before (zoom at default).
I've bug-reported all these issues.

Although it doesn't happen to me, my friend is getting this problem. I hope it gets a fix soon.

Yea, the 1st-person camera is definitely screwed up when attachments are worn--I just tried it with my smurf av and my attachments are definitely getting pushed out away from my avatar's body:

Ok, guys. I'm using Mac. Is this the Window's client's specific problem. Right?

I'm on WinXP; I don't think it's an OS-specific issue.

adds confirmation: While flying in Mouselook Mode yesterday Saturday, I noticed an interesting "target ring" flying in front of me with the prettiest ROse on it.. Gosh I don't have a gun on, I thought.. looked some more.. hey, that looks a lot like my NECKlace with a Rose.. And so it was.. my prim necklace was projecting out in front of me in Mouselook as I flew.. How INteresting..

I can't see myself at all in mouselook. I really want to see at least my arms and hands when I hold a gun. Is this a broken mouselook problem of the opposit side?

I've never known this feature for over 15 months. Yeah, I made sure I saw my attatchments. It was really not an OS-specific issue. I've just joined your club. Thank you, Eep.
