Since roll out of the gridwide update to .80913 severe script slowdowns have been noted. If this is apparent to you please see the issue at https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/MISC-975 , and comment / vote. Thanks to Zimzim Yongbo for starting the Jira thread !

I have tested my sim and some scripts are now taking 3 times longer to execute than before. Link listens are very slow tot he point of possibly even going missing. This is VERY BAD NEWS.
I voted and commented on the Jira issue...

Funny, I haven't noticed any difference in any of the 11 sims I have. What would be a sure sign of this?

From: Darien Caldwell Funny, I haven't noticed any difference in any of the 11 sims I have. What would be a sure sign of this? I don't know if this is directly related, but running scripts or scripted-objects have become a hit-or-miss thing of late. Many times I try placing an object on the body or wear a hud and it will not execute its instructions in scripted-enabled regions. These are the same objects that used to work fine. Now, you pretty much roll the dice as to whether the object will do what it is supposed to. And to add to that. Sometimes objects just *refuse* to de-rezz or detach from the avatar now. I can say, please detach this object, and it simply sits there and doesn't go away. I can repeat the command over and it still refuses to budge. And all this while the client is normally working and running. The only way to gain back some control over things is to of course log back in. But how inconvient is that?
