Even worser performance

God lindens what in the world are you doing... My AO just disapeared for the fourth time couse it "failed to rezz" i cant teleport anywhere i cant search for anyone

No No really now that the casinos are gone everything is perfect no lag, my inventory doesn't take 5 min to load, funds spent didn't drop by 700k + per 24 hour period (and this is a weekend mind you) SL is perfect now!!

Now that we don't have the Casinos to blame, people are realizing how screwed up the grid is.

10 million craptastic casinos still all over the grid.

Maybe its the deleting of so many Casinos by Linden Staff.

for the last 24 plus hours I have not been able to search, TP regularly, buy, sell, move without lag generally, or many other things... what am I paying for again?
more people need to buy their accounts so LL can afford to hire a tech guy! lol

Ugh. I feel your pain. I've been stuck in the same boring sim for 12 hours or so because I'm unable to teleport out. Tried using search but thats busted to hell as well. Whudafuxup Lindens?

I have not been a member of the SL Community for long, but so far all I have seen are new bugs each time there is an update! Being a IT Professional myself, I am happy our Rollouts are nothing like these, otherwise my Company would have been out of business a long time ago. Can anyone suggest alternatives to SL please??

Red Light Center (RLC) pretty good fairly new, but it doesnt crash like sl and the support is good.

Log out, run SL, change your log in location to the sim you wish to go to, log in.

Actually RedlightCenter is almost 2 yrs old now. The graphics are great, but you'd better not cross the little clicque that has taken control of it in ingame. They're a bunch of viscious, nasty people. I left after a year because of them and many others have left for the same reason. My advice is stay in SL unless you like being insulted, lied about and rude to.
And as far as not crashing and having it's problems, obviously you haven't been a member of RLC very long. I've seen complete weekends of not being able to log on after an update, and then crashing constantly for days after.

Oh, and their website sucks a$$. Completely inapropriate implementation of Flash. If your site is going to be in Flash (which is Bad Idea #1 in web development) then under NO circumstances should you have different pages with different Flash movies on them. The POINT of a flash site is to PUT EVERYTHING in that one flash movie.

And Collette, they actually did delete them! One day's warning and pow! When they deleted the huge sky casino, people on neighboring parcels also lost their stuff. Wow. It felt like a real purge here. The casino owner just sold all his land right away. It was like a freakin storm hit. Ironically, I am not a fan of casinos but this guy's build was really beautiful..like a piece of modern art..I was sad to see it go.

Doing that is one method of allowing people to bookmark and hand out specific sections of a site. Something you generally cannot do with most flash sites.
