About three times today I tried to leave a tip jar on my group-owned land.. each time I got an error that I couldn't put the object in the parcel, because the parcel does not allow objects to enter from other parcels, or something funky like that. And the tip jars I used to have are no longer in my inventory! Similar thing happens when I try dropping some random object, but I also saw a message that the object was returned from an adjacent parcel, even though I'm trying to drop it in my own parcel.

I've seen a few variation of this same problem multiple time in world since the last update. On many occasions it appears that the prim(s) you are rezzing actually do register as being placed where u intended to place it but you can't see it. I have pulled objects from my inventory as you described with what appeared to be the same results. However i would actually run into the now invisible object sitting there in front of me. Of course you also get the misleading or erroneous messages from SL.

This should be priority number one. It's an awful problem. They need to get this fixed.
WHENEVER this happens to you, send a detailed bug report. I was talking to a Linden today who said that the more details about when and where this happened and the name of the object, the better. There is a chance they can recover it, but they need a bug report.

Just filed a bug report from my land where I tried to place a chair from my invetory. I received the following message:
"[20:56] Can't move object to
{ 38.3881, 46.1742, 28.4014 } in region Dari because the parcel does not allow objects to enter from other parcels."
The object was actually placed though it could not be seen. The photo for the bug report shows me standing on the chair but it looks as if I'm standing in mid air. Than I received the following message:
"[21:06] Second Life: Your object 'Low Prim Leather Chair w-Multi-Sit and Color Changer' has been returned to your inventory lost and found folder by Governor Linden from parcel 'Protected Land' at Dari 0, 0 due to parcel auto return."
Which is really odd because the coordinates say it was returned from (0, 0) in Dari. It was however returned to my lost and found.
As a side note on a related issue from a different thread, my temp-rez displays are now working correctly and the displays are now visible.
