With the new 1.20.15 Viewer, I am getting intermittent "distorted" snapshots which generally have large parts normal looking but overlaid with geometric 'vortex' like distortions. Sometimes parts of the scene are absent, and you see to the background. Mostly though, there is distinct geometric 'explosions'. I didn't change any settings when upgrading. It doesn't always happen, but sooner or later takes over, and I must re-log. Any advise? I use snapshots a lot, and this makes them useless.

A couple of things to try, this is the best order to try them: -Go to your videocard settings, and enable "Enable OpenGL Vertex Buffer Objects". -See if there are updates available for your videocard drivers -Tune down some settings in your SL Graphics preferences, especially the new shader settings, they can be rather demanding of your graphics card.

Check also that your GC is driving your monitor at the correct refresh rate.
