Crashing and Login Problems

With the last version upgrade of SL, I had no problems with it and was able to login smoothly and very rarely crashed. Now with the current version I am in crash hell and login hell. hey the new features are great but its really disappointing that I am having so many problems.

I am not looking at having to upgrade my processor to cope with the problems.

I was hosting Tringo on Saturday morning when we all just kept crashing and I would have to stop the game several times and restart the whole thing all over again. I feel this was released too early and too quickly. An upgrade every 6 months - 1 year is more than enough. Not every few months.

I am also having major issues with the new version crashing on me. I have turned my graphics settings all the way down and every time I go to log in to Second Life, it crashes on me. I'll be in for about 3 seconds and then I'll get a black screen and it crashes.

After about 5 times of it doing so, I'll finally be able to log in (black screen glitches) and then be fine for about 30 mins then it will start all over again.

Zero warning crashes, system is not logging back in properly, avatars acting oddly, massive lag in almost every area of SL I have been in. The lag and crashing are major problems to me, as it is to anyone that runs a live business in SL. I would sure like to know what the Lindens have in mind to address this problem, which has to have been caused by the update - was having no trouble before that. Oh, and my system is more then capable of running SL.

My machine can handle SL just with the new version. But I suspect its the new version that is the major problem.

My frame rate sucks. And most of the time I cannot log out of SL without crashing. Certainly the lag has been awful. This should have had longer testing than what it did have.

I have 1.7 GHz processor, 1 GIG RAM and 256 MB NVidia Graphics card.
