Ok I normaly run the Nicholaz OS version, and I have been getting some strange RF style interfernce on screen for about a week or so now. Most of the time it's just minor but still anoying, however ocasionaly it has crashed my machine completely, screen goes blank and the computer reboots or just sits there doing nothing.
Out of curisosity I decided to d/l the SL 1-18-3-5 version to see if it was something to do with the Nicholaz version. as soon as I started SL, the RF style interference started again this time much worse than b4, it was so bad I had to logoff.
Again curisosity got the better of me and I d/l the RC version, loged on and this time the interference was even worse.
At this point I started to worry that my graphics card was about to go pop or something, so I opened the case checked the card and everything seems fine, I checked the cables and they too seem fine. Likewise the monitor, even did a degause just to check it wasen't that. upshot is that my equipment seems to be in working order.
Could it be something to do with the load SL hits my graphics card with ? Thought I'd check, so I loaded a moded version of Homeworld 2 and started a game with no unit caps. I spent a few hours playing that and had at one point over 200 ships (no idea how many the other 2 AI's had) in battle and tho the framerate droped a bit, it still managed to remain playable. I got none of the RF interference whatsoever, and managed to finish the game without any problems.
So whats going on? I have tried all 3 versions again and have the same problem, but only with SL. Poser, 3dsmax9, Homeworld, and Half Life 2 all run with full whistles and bells without problems but SL has this strange RF crap going on.
Has anybody else had this problem? Any ideas?

Traced

I've traced the problem to OpenGL.
Even the latest Catalyst Drivers don't solve the problem !!!!

Still no solution

Has anybody got a clue as to what to do about this? It's definatly an OpenGL problem and none of the drivers up too and including the latest has any effect on the problem. What changed recently to suddenly start causing problems with OpenGL?
