Autoreturn and various editing tool glitches

I'm not sure how reproducable these things are, so I'm going to call them intermittent for the moment.

When I go to places like Perry sim, or even my own home in Fox Valley, the first item that I rez that day is instantly returned to me. If I try a second time to rez the same object (Or another object) then there is no problem. It just seems like the first rez of each session or each day does that.

Also the edit tool has grown increasingly buggy with recent verions. "Undo" is particularly unreliable as when editing linked parts, things sometimes go askew of how they were when you use it, or perhaps only one prim returns to it's previous alignent and you must manually move the others back.

Undo also does _nothing_ if you work using the numeric inputs under More>Object.

Something I often run into is prim memory, where one prim in a link set (object) refuses to change size, rotation, or position unless it is unlinked first. You can change it using the inputs or sliders, but it will "snap" back to it's previous state.

High-prim objects also suffer some defect when you try to rotate them, particularly when using multi-select. IE, my home is a bit too large to link as all one object. The outer hull is in two halves, and when trying to rotate them together I sometimes suffer a variation of the prim memory defect, in which each half skews, takng it's new position but keeping the old rotation. (Most noticable when rotating around Z axis.)

Sort of compiling a list of related bugs. Others may feel free to add to this, and I do plan to copy each section of this into a bug report once I'm in-game to make sure it gets to the right department. If you suffer these problems then I'd suggest doing the same - It usually takes a large number of people pointing out a defect to get things in swift motion.

Oh, I'm glad you're compiling a list!

IMO, the prim "snapback" and the Undo not working are the most critical/annoying. Undo in particular is also a very "weak" tool, only responding (as you said) to manual movements when "it wants too"--er, and has been since v.1.7.

To add to list, I want to bring up the new problem with autoreturn not functioning correctly. Almost anything I rez in sandboxes or just plain not-mine land, is instantly returned. Truly excrutiating :(

More..

Appendix D - The "OMG, why did it select the whole object, phuck!" problem.

When using "Edit Linked Prim" to unlink prims from a linkset, the entire linkset highlights and selects itself after successfully de-linking the one prim. Another extremely annoying detail because if you hit the Delete key (to delete the one now-unlinked prim) the entire object goes away with it. Thus, you have to delink, deselect, and reselect the one prim to delete it. Uber annoying :(

You know, someone just reminded me of a long-standing bug. Its also been with us since 1.7.

Stream shuts itself on when making changes in Preferences menu.

With streaming enabled and stopped, go into preferences (ctrl+P) and make any change, then hit apply/OK.

The stream will begin to play without the controls for it being touched. You must hit play, then stop to stop it as with this "Mind of its own" behavior, the stop button remains grayed out untill you do hit play.

If there is any spare time for last-minute additions to the 1.11 or 1.12 patches, I'd dearly like to see things like this corrected. Long-standing but minor bugs really serve to discourage people even bothering to report things. "If it doesn't get fixed after this long, why bother?" is what one could easily begin to think.
