I just submitted this bug report:
From: someone
Category:
User interface

Summary:
Mac Client: "delete" key doesn't function in Edit mode

Details, Steps...:
In Edit mode with the chat input bar deactivated, select an object to delete, then press the "delete" key.

Details, Observed...:
Object is not affected using "delete" key.

Details, Expected...:
Objects should be trashed when "delete" key is pressed. User shouldn't have to navigate to Edit > Delete on the menu bar to accomplish this.

Is anyone else affected by this?

This one doesn't repro for me on a WinPC. What DOES happen is if I rez and select an object, and bring the chat bar up. Then Delete does nothing... I reported a similar bug to this the other day about not being able to use text edit shortcuts in the chatbar when building, it's prolly connected.

Sometimes "delete" does not work until I've reclicked on the object first. Sometimes when I click on delete twice, it deletes the object and then the object behind it. It must be lag-related though and not a bug. Using WinXP at my end though.
