LM option in profiles

I'd like to see the profiles improved to have an option of adding landmarks, in addition to teleport.

You could even charge for it, I would pay 10L a piece to upload LM's to my profile.

Often times, I will be looking through a build, or inspecting a prim piece of clothing on another av, and would like to see addition creations from the creator. I think most of us pull up the profile- and IM'ing is archaic and intrusive. Sure most provide coordinates, but LM's can be saved and referenced later.

There should be an option to just view LM's provided; so that I can save to inventory for access later.

Move to Feature Suggestions.
As per the idea:
not bad, don't really have any thoughts one way or the other.

People can use their web tab to display a web page with urls of their builds. Or use their "About" section to hold urls of SL locations, or use the description field of an object to hold urls of other things they have made. To use the urls copy and paste them in the chat bar and click them in chat history.

Could builders include in their builds a copiable notecard with urls of their other builds?

Folks can register with SLexchange and SLBoutique and provide an url that takes a person to a page that will give them a free notecard.

You know, way back when, we used to be able to save landmarks from the search and from user picks. Whatever happened to that?

Probably had people who'd sat their land to "no landmarks" complaining that this was an "exploit". So instead of getting rid of the useless "no landmarks" capability, they make people create pseudo-landmarks that are just as effective using SLURL. or secondlife:// URLs.

I'm also kind of bugged by the fact that they make you go through the extra step of visiting the often laggy SLURL or editing the URL instead of having the map hand you a secondlife:// URL directly.

secondlife://[simname]/X/Y/Z

All of that is generally available without needing to open the map.
