Feedback on the No Auto-Camera Movement

It was a great idea, that editing an object wouldn't futz around with your camera, however, there are times when sitting down I want to refocus my camera on myself and the only way I know how to do that is to adit some random object and then close the builder.
With the auto-camera turned off guess what? My camera doesn't revert. As a result I have to deal with the old system, which I can handle, but I'd very much like to turn the feature off.
Is there another way to re-center the camera?
If not, we need one.

Hit "Fly" and "Stop Flying".
(yes "reset view" should do this, damnit)

Hitting ESC should also reset the camera.

But still, a dedicated "recenter camer" option would be nice because honestly who'd have thought that "Fly" did that (HCI people, HCI!) There is a "reset view" item under view, and it's *not* the same as hitting escape - it doesn't close chat. The only problem is that it got broken in recent releases... particularly when you're sitting down. |
