Canceling my account. This is for the Second Life system managers:
I created my account but could NEVER log on successfully, even though I tried using three different computers at three different locations in the US. The problem is the Second Life servers stall in the middle of the log on process.
I sent three emails to tech support describing the problem, the emails were NEVER returned.
I left two voice mails, voice mails NEVER returned.
I eventually received the following canned email text from "Michael Linden via RT <support@secondlife.com>": "Unfortunately, we've gotten a bit behind in responding to these in the last few days; so please reply to this e-mail (or call one of the numbers below) if your problem or request is still a concern."
And as I expected, while completing the feedback survey as to why I am canceling my account, the survey returned a 404 error for the second page (path=/apps/survey/survey/take/2), so I am unable to even leave a reason as to why I am canceling the account, hence this post here.
Not that it sounds like anyone is interested.
