feedback on todays fixes

well i managed to log in once in once try .. then i crashed after a time and since i cnat log in anymore with the smae messages than before.

IM's sometimes just not work at all

linenX keep giving me error messages

cant buy anything

the lag is so heavy that it is hardly possible to move

friend list only partially working.

TP worked once and not even after

no search tool

no map loading

no profile loading

no info group loading

profile not updating when a friend come online on friendlist. ( show on map and teleport offer remains desativated)

there are all the issues i had when logging for only 20 minutes

I have been having similar issues.
Friends list is still not working.

My biggest issues are with the crashes, and these issues seem to be consistent with all the users commenting in the forum.

I can't even log in now... the loading bar doesn't even move.

Can barely log in.

Friends list doesn't work.

Can't buy money in world (great when your rent is due in five hours <g>.

IM's don't go to email account anymore.

I have the following problems:

Cannot log in as of 2:05 (about)

When logged in prior to 2:05 SL Time:

could not add names to land >> access >> avatars

sever lag even though I have a 10M d/l rate and 1.5M u/l

Cannot read group members says 0/3 under members then hit "refresh" and it says 0/0 ???!!!!

Teleport problems

the login is the worst

i crash every 10 minutes takes me about 30 to 40 to come back online ....

at this rate i should be able to do 3 steps every 4 hours

So you guys are online right now? I just noticed the 0 Players Online on my status screen:

Second Life Time: 2:17 pm PDT
Total Residents: 5,881,608
Logged In Last 60 Days: 1,761,431
Online Now: 0

I could log in (2:32 PM PDT). But the SL Library is now missing in my inv.

Got at least one object that says: Missing object in Database.

Particles just went off - after relog worked again.

and Transparency and texture ordering is totally broken,
my curtains before transparency windows appear to be outside, but
from side i see they are inside
If i look to a wall and there is a transparency window somewhere outside, the wall is transparent too

- Library folder is missing
- Gestures are missing
- no friends online ... even if i can see them



The only good thing to say:
search is very fast

but SL is unusable in this state

Hi guys....

First of all I would like to apologise for my poor understanding of the english language.
I am from Denmark and naturally english is not my first language.
As an example of that, I read the blog and it said :

"[DONE] Problems with Login and Website"

Could anyone please tell me what exactly that phrase means?
I would have sworn it meant that everything was alright now... Maybe LL uses a different dictionary than I do?

With that that out of the way, I just wanted to tell you that we are probably all suffering the same ill fate. Eventually SL will die. As soon as the competition get their worlds up and running, like the outback projekt etc., we don't have to put up with this bull anymore.

Saying that, I realise that software is very hard to make. I won't even pretend to know how hard it must be to keep SL running. I also realize that so many people are cheering LL on and thanking them for their effort, and I like that.
Hey, my workday would a heck of a lot easier if people did the same where I work. But in the end of the day, it doesn't matter, whether SL is "cutting edge" and "first of its kind" and all that or if its hard work to keep it running. The only thing that matters is the user experience, and right now that seems to be very poor.

How many of you can honestly mention one other thing, machine,produkt,system or what ever that you would take the same kind of crap from? You got one? Ok... Find something where there is a true alternative? Oh... zero huh? And that, ladies and gentlemen, is exactly why SL will eventually die.

Don't get me wrong here... I love SL. I'm just feeling a little sad that LL has chosen a strategy that in the end will make me abandon it all and start a third life somewhere else.

Enough rambling....with a little luck I can now log back in and get my fix.

Looks like the old alpha texturing bug, lol

I also found some neat feature now. I crashed, because not all sims seem to be restarted and now I can't login: The server is still closing your previous session (or similiar). lol What a fun.

I can only NOT crash in my SL home. If I want to go anyplace else I'll crash and it takes 40 minutes to get back in.

Well let's see.. all of my vendors are broken, so no money coming in.. and every 5 minutes or so, my avatar takes this pose.

I had a different experience while chatting. I just went away. Without saying 'afk' or something - in 2 secs.

Ya know it's almost like a sign...everytime I consider upgrading my membership to premium, LL releases another "update" and breaks a bunch of stuff which sways my decision to hold off.

yeah this and the increasing number of ne non payment resident comming with the usual " hey babe wanan fuck?" appraoch aren't really making me want to stay
but well i just keep paying the lindens i spend and will nto pass to premium until bugs are better.

I'm having problems in general with the update. I can't even GET the login screen. As far as i'm aware, this was a problem with 1.14 also, but all they could do to fix it was rollback to the last one.

Now that 1.15 is mandatory, same problem comes back. I don't even get a login screen. I click the link. Nothing happens. Anyone have a good fix for this?

Its making me annoying. I'm putting good money into this, and every update just screws things up worse. More lag, even in places that had no lag previously...more crashes...oh, and support?

I've tried to send a mail to them about 17 times now. Everytime I get an IE page error and then the screen closes. So I can't even send in a help request. What a load of BS.
