Good evening,
I'm really sorry to bring this up here. I don't see a better place to mention this. And I apologize if I sound cynical.
What ever happend to "Were shutting down in 5 minutes, 1 minute, please log out now?
I'm GREATLY displeased with the recent "Hey we're shutting down, thanks for understanding" *shutdown!*
My request to Linden Labs is that you give us at least 30 seconds to 1 minute. That leaves enough time to at least exchange alternate forms of contact 'email, AIM, etc..' so that conversations, business and freindly get togethers, can still proceed while off SL.
This is the second time that I've had an important conversation with a friend cut short, ironacally the same friend both times. I have no means of contacting her now.
Please consider this.

My thoughts exactly. I even asked the person I was talking to for their AIM ID, but SL disconnected before I even got a chance to get a response. GG, LL. I guess this exploit was so horribly critical that, even after a fair bit has time has passed since the last patch, as soon as Philip gave the word it had to be shut down NOW NOW NOW, URGENTLY, NO TIME TO WASTE, PEOPLE!
Yet another reason why people don't take Linden Labs seriously.
