Not sure why we needed them but what ever. There are 3 new buttons on profile when you pull it up (kick freeze unfreeze) now it wasn't like it was hard to find them before but I don't really care if they put them on the profile cept for 2 things. One its on your own when you click on it... so what you can kick freeze and unfreeze yourself though if you could wouldn't the unfreeze button be pointless  and second why is it next to and partially covering the about in your profile? Didn't anyone think this might be in the way? If it's a bug thats cool I bugged it but seems silly that things like this even happen.

lol ok the buttons being there is cool for others but kinda pointless unless you own the land and who but a masochist would freeze or eject themselves ;P

Several things.
First, "fake" God mode's not on for everyone... at least, it's not on for me, unless I specfically go into the client debug menu and ask for it. So disabling that "feature" (which is mostly useless now anyway) will remove the extra buttons.
Second, those buttons don't work, even if you're on land you own. They're just for Liasons.
Third, those buttons are just meant for administrators, so I'm guessing they didn't really see fit to take extra care to make them look pretty.
Anyway, if you missed the controversy, the upshot of all this is that this stems from the whole "god mode hack" thing that's been going around for the past few months. It lets you trick your client into pretending you're an administrator, but the server doesn't let you actually USE most of the powers your client thinks you have. The leftovers are UI changes like those extra buttons and the untethering of your camera and such. You can disable the buttons by fishing around in the debug menus... I think "leave God mode" is in the "Server" menu.

The "practical" side is:
At the bottom of the Client debug menu is an option "Enable Admin Options" with a shortcut of ctrl-alt-v.
If this is enabled (there will be a 'x' by it) it is functionally equivelant to the old god hack. The client will enable all the features as if you have administrative powers even though you do not. This is a useful debugging feature for finding client side "god" exploits.
In general enabling admin options should be useless. It should only enable buttons that do not work - and yes, a lot of the administrative features are ugly. All the administrative features that were client side have been moved into the new Client menu along with what used to be in the Debug menu and are available all the time.
If you find that there is some feature that Enable Admin Options actually lets you do that you can't do with out it please let us know. Either through bug report in world (probably an exploit) or you can email me (kelly@lindenlab.com).
