This Game is awful now with the new update

I pay alot of money every month to play this game and so far i have not been able to be online for more that a few minutes, why release a new version of the game when it is obviously full of bugs. If this continues of much longer i will have no choice but to pull out of the game, something i really dont want to do, as i play this game to relax and at the moment i am getting more and more frustrated with it.

I felt exactly the same, for about 5 times now, since 1.2. Every update in the start looks like they basically destroyed the place. Often I continuously crashed, tp'ed into nothingness or saw loads of work before me 'fixing' stuff too... very very frustrating.

Yes, there are bugs. The SL 1.7 version has been quite extensively tested and fixed in previews (51 versions). But the main grid nowadays, with 70000 users and 1000 sims is a completely different beast, so a lot of problems are still only found on the main grid.

The only thing I can say is:

They're working on it, they're fixing the things, so it won't be like this forever. It can take a while, maybe a few days (1.7.1 is planned for thursday), for some even a few weeks for some of the nastier nastier bugs. (It took them till about 1.6.7 or so to get most building stuff fixed since 1.6 was released.)

All in all, it's your choice. Wait it out and enjoy the gradually improving experience, wait it out doing 'other stuff', or throw in the towel. I've seen and tried doing some of the cool new stuff in preview, so I think it's worth the wait though

Yea, hang in there. This is the process of a major grid update. It may look like disaster but it's a natural process. In 2 months you'll wonder how you ever lived with 1.6

I'm sure it has its problems..he bappy u guys can atleast get in the game...im stuck outta it cuz the update/griefing screwed up my sim
