I'd like to be able to use the in-viewer mozilla browser without having to look up something in the script editor.

Does the browser actually even work?

The few times I tried it I have to click an inch below any link in order for it to actually get clicked.

I've used the mozilla browser for a long time with decent results. Just lately it was given the capability of logging in to secondlife.com and forums.secondlife.com. I've posted in other forums, like sluniverse and sl-forums, from the mozilla browser, used photobucket.com, many months ago.

Never had any problem with clicking on links. Some things like sites done with Ajax and other fancy stuff didn't work.

The mozilla browser is currently in use as part of the scripting editor, you can access the scripting portal of wiki.secondlife.com, and that works, and you can find a link to Google in the wiki, and go to Google and from there to other sites.

I want to be able to use third party created SL oriented sites in an in-client browser. I can't think of anything that would enhance the SL user's power more with little additional effort on SL's part. Yes, it would need to have some disclaimers about how it doesn't do everything under the sun, no Java, no Flash, whatever limitations it has aren't as great as the limitation of not being able to use it at all in a convenient way.

Make it available for easy use and third party site operators will find a way to make things that work to suit SL users and themselves, thus adding the value to the in-client browser that would justify devoting resources toward it's further development.

Odd. Mine looks like this:

In order to click the link I have to click actually click near the bottom of the "Thank you for your (etc)" line. It's always been like that for me and I just figured it was the usual LL way of giving us things that don't work the way they should :o.

Thili's image shows the current F1 result, Kitty's show the previous result, but for a good while, the standard result was to display the information shown at http://suezanne.fateback.com/help/index-2.html

Here's a pic from back in October of 2006 showing the F1 mozilla browser in use:

I have this same problem. Yet when I use my Web profile window to go to a page, everything links perfectly fine. I agree with this, give us a Mozilla Window we can open up in game to browse to links without having to open up a separate realworld browser window. Links clicked in game can go directly to the link using the inworld mozilla without risking corrupting the display or crashing by toggling from 3d to 2d desktop.
