manage parcel divisions now. Estate Managers like me can’t do that part of their jobs.

Someone was NOT thinking or talking to sim owners or estate managers when they added in this un-asked for “feature”.

I own estaes i have estate mangers also so they can cut, subdivide , or join parcels, while keeping the land in a group. we need to get this changed back to be able to cut, suddivide, and join land again. I really hope someone in SL is listening to this and put it back or allow us to be able to do it again PLEASE we are begging

ONCE AGAIN WE ARE BEGGING TO BE ABLE TO SUBDIVIDE, AND JOIN PARCELS WHILE IN THE GROUP ON PRIVATE ESTATES, THE PEOPLE WHO BUY, OR RENT ON OUR SIMS SHOULD HAVE THIS RIGHT WITHOUT HAVING TO ASK THE OWNER, I am a sim owner you should talk to us first before doing something like this. If we are the people who make second life happen don't u think it would be right to ask our opinion??? Please reconsider Thank you....

Yes, they need to make the rules on islands the same as on the mainland, as far as parcelling up land goes, except that estate owners and managers get landowner rights (including edit terrain as well as things like join and subdivide). For the really rare situation where some landowner does something really dumb the estate owner can always take the land back and fix it... but 99.4% of the time this just makes the estate owner's job much much harder.

I love the fact that this post is also stated verbatum in another thread about the same issue.
