First things first: I love the new teleport system. Nice, fast, no saving of attachments....good job. Now on to the bad stuff: Animations are sticky. For example... click a dance-club sign, dance...now teleport while dancing. Notice anything funny when you get to the new location? Yup...you're still dancing. Same thing happens when you are on one of the popular styles of dance pad. You know...the ones that pay for camping? Yeah...teleport off one of those and you still wind up dancing at your new location. Mute Resident List deletes itself on exit. This never used to happen, is this a nifty undocumented feature or a plain old bug? I'd rather have to remove someone from my mute list than have to put them on it every freeking time. I used my mute list as a personal "ban" list. Now...I've LOST everyone on that thing. Please reconsider this new feature. I liked it the way it was before.

The new TPs sure are snappy--and so's logging out too! SL closes much quicker with the progress bar than it did before. I haven't heard more comments about this but happy ya noticed. (It is actually one of the first things I observed in the Preview 1.9.) There should be an easier system way to STOP ALL ANIMATIONS. Hmmm, the usual performance drop *shrugs* sooner or later it'll bottom out and SL will become an overpriced chatroom - say, oh, about 7-8 more updates?
Edit linked parts seems to have regained 'bounceback' on resizing a single element which is bloody annoying *shrugs* been there, done that, got the tee-shirt... Since Edit Linked Parts simply doesn't work reliably, why not just remove it from the edit window?
Copying a linked set of rectangular shapes *sometimes* produces unexpected results, in this case one of the 4 linked rectangular panels turned into a strange twisted thing on drag/copy *shrugs* non-reproducible on second attempt...
Error about 'body part not in database' (?) on login sounds bad, but I seemed to be all there...

No, I'm not bug reporting that lot, especially not the drag/copy one. I HAVE reported the continuing performance loss, for all the good it'll do, because that's ALL I'm really concerned about.

Umm where to start Really snappy TP if you dont want to go above 250m teleport limit ? (bye bye sky box ) on_rez() function changed without any warning ( I do believe an awful lot of on-rez poofers just stopped working ) SetCameraParams - for attachments - Not for HUDs tho ( I thought they were attachments ) DEBUG_CHANNEL - doesnt work with whisper DEBUG screen - minimize it and it lays on top of minimized instant messages. thats after 30 mins of using it  --edit-- Will second that "Bl**dy annoying" edit linked parts ,after having a 10 minute battle trying to rotate part of an object - ended up scripting it.

Not enough optimization options. I have EVERYTHING turned down to thier extreme maximum and still get nailed by the cloud cover... There should be a option to remove the clouds from rendering to prevent further graphical lag. I have some of the higest quality hardware in this computer (Able to play the new Doom game without a single problem and its the most Graphically intensive game I've ever seen... Have you actually looked at the requirements to play it?) and SL is still bogged out. Even at the sandboxes when I'm trying to build something simple it ends up becoming a chore because theres about 20 other people who have filled up the lot with finished products and not clearing area for others.
I would suggest a few more sandboxes scattered around and perhaps larger as well.
I have even tried 3DAnylize with SL and I get nothing. I'm lucky enough I have only tried it in windowed mode because if I tried it in anything else it would be reboot time. With 3DAnylize I can get to the login screen but after that there is no graphics, not even a black screen. Just the title bar and the borders and thats it. So that plan failed. I'm not sure if this is even really a bug or just a huge problem with my own computer... (2.8Ghz processor, AMD Motherboard 2800+, 1 Gig of RAM, 20 GB free on one Seagate harddrive and another 40 on the other with both swapfiles being in excess of 5 Gigs each.
I spent over a hour lagging trying to read the help file about lag and how to possibly correct it. Did EVERYTHING... No change. I might go as far to say there was more lag!
I have pretty much killed a entire night on this game just trying to build one house with all the lag. Then guess what? Game crashes and it zips me off to god-knows-where and I lose everything I built because I can't remember some excat coordinates that are up at the top of the screen before everything turns black. (I now know about the selection to start where last location was and now have it checked.) But the last time I ended up in a laggy area and crashing. it happened over and over again. I had to call a friend to bail me out of the area and even he had problems with a better computer than mine! The sandboxes need to get larger or be more plentiful around the grid because just two of them wont do to well.

Try adding the line "UseDebugMenus TRUE" to your settings.ini and then uncheck the Clouds render option (I don't know from the top of my head where exactly it is located, Render Options something).

Anyone else getting an hourglass on their screen, constantly? I can do everything fine, chat, move, ect. but an hourglass stays on my screen. This never happened before the update...cleared cache, etc...

Yup...you're still dancing. They changed the way animation permission worked, so yuo couldn't get stuck on standing, and it sounds like they broke something else. They also seem to have broken things so I DID get stuck on standing at one point, when that had never happened before. Have you bug-reported it?

Yeah, that bugs me too... the water may have been unrealistically blue before, but at least it was pretty, and you could see the ripple effect. Now it's either too dark to see anything, or too bright to look at, depending on the sun. If the brightness is at a reasonable level, then the ripples usually look diminished. Don't know why it had to be changed, it's ugly now. Also, not that it's really important or anything, but before the 1.9 update we were getting these gorgeous, intense red-orange sunsets and sunrises... gone now, as far as I've seen. I've also had trouble with teleporting down to the ground (using a landmark) from a high-altitude location... sometimes I can't land, I have to sit and get up again. I'm not inclined to bother with bug reports either-- I've seen how much good it does.

What can I say. You cannot possibly please all 150,000 people at the same time. if you want to please someone, you'll make someone else hate it. The only way to please EVERYONE is to stop doing everything, and that's also spell the end. So LL have to choose.
Also, they do warned about on_rez changes, for at least a few weeks. I've seen it. You won't see any warning if you do not read the Announcement forum and don't read the changes list in the Preview client page.

I will too. Could you add to the list, that eversince 1.9 came out I have discovered new cracks in my house on a daily basis thanks. (The house was perfect before 1.9 was installed)

Things ive noticed ... planar mapping sometimes causes textures that are repeated in one direction to turn black(on other prims that have nothing to do with the one im working on) the preview animation window from the inventory no longer stops animations when closed Tping wile running an animation no longer stops the animation while TP's are faster it doesnt really matter becuase most of the time the landscape is barren when you get there, so its tp quick and wait or tp slow and atleast have grey prims in the area The world map is slower to show landmarks Alpha ordering (this is originally from 1.8.something) i can understand 2 transparent texures having issues ontop of eachother but in my store i have floor textures with a transparent circle in the middle... when i made it i had no issues, nowdays i see displays with alpha in them tru the solid parts of the floor (but alpha directly over alpha wont bleed tru) Setting Textures via numbers, if i set the first repeat per face to lets say 0.657 it sticks no problem, if i change the second one it rounds off the first number, but if i change the second one first it wont round off the first, highly annoying, esp with complex angles and trying to fit a plannar map around them Selection, if an av is nearish an object im trying to select to edit (or whatever) it picks up the av. If noone but me is around sometimes it decides to grab the land. And when i wanna grab the land it almost always picks up an object or my pie menu (i had a renter that wanted me to change some land settings, no problem till it took me 25 right clicks to get the about land option up in a mostly empty area) AlT Tab and AlT Enter ... its a 90% chance of a SL crash now (it used to be in measurable to me becuase it rarley happened) After constantly crashing my keyboard flips out in SL (and nothing else) things that have no hot key will all of a sudden be mapped to the KB enter brings up movement controls, i think its j will bring up camera controls, tab brings up the group menu esc will bring up the IM window (just plain weirdness) Some more of the above crashes and the SL client wont load at all, something is getting goofed apon crash, the only way to fix it is to uninstall and reinstall,and its really annoying to have a crapload of dialog boxes holding my hand when ive been here for over a year .... esp since ive had to do it 3 times in the last week (make a freakin option to turn that crap off PLZ) Cars and sim boundrys, always an issue but nowadays when i cross into some sims the car stops dead and will not respond to any movement commands, you have to pick it up and move it accross that line yourself, little self probing showed that this mostly happens on sims that have different water table elevations HUD attachments and screenshot, OMG ugh (bites toung calms down) i probally woluldnt care but i run the Tuesday night Noobie show and tell, my voting board is hud controled, a simple little 3 button gadget... and frankly its ugly but what do i care, One other person and myself were the only ones that had to see it and it does the job just fine. I take a lot of screenshots and post them to my website ... i dont really want the ugly hud (or even a nice one) in someone elses picture. Now I do have an option but its half assed, so im faced with leaving the hud on screenshot or i can click the button fumble tru the menu take a snapshot handle IM's from contestants and try to pay attention to the person thats presenting, fumble tru a menu (while making small talk) click a button fumble tru a menu .... screw it the hud stays on, thanks guys Inventory window, im glad you had time to put all that new stuff in there but it dun broke something, lets say i have a texture named Boat_in_Water, if i search for "Boat" fine, if i search for "Water" fine, if i search for "in" nothing, again im glad you higlighted the search i would have never been able to spot the word BOAT after searching for it, but it cant do mid title searches (this is a pain becuase i have alot of textures named lets say "boat_test_map" and "boat_final_map"  Edit info in screenshots, but thats been adressed and it was said to be fixed in another thread. Oh and one last thing i can think of atm Physics, pre .17 i could sit on a rubber ball and shoot myself all over the place, now it goes up comes back down starts to shoot somewhere else gets about 50m away locks in place shakes back and foruth (like on a 0-5 degree angle) and bumps me offline (well not really i just cant do anything and theres no data com on the ctrl-shift-1 menu, its not my internet becuase i still hear parcel music on the land im stuck on) Some of these (like the alt enter crashes) are really fustrating, some are silly, just things ive noticed

Hud attachments are showing in screenshots. It is the suck. pls to fix. Animations continue after you TP and often you have to log to get out of the anim since you can no longer stop it at the source (since you've TP'd away from the source). In one example I was sitting on a cushion and I tp'd away without standing first. Even though the stand up button was still at the bottom of my screen, i could not stand and had to relog in order to get out of the animation. Mute lists disappear after logging. Pain in the butt to readd them all. If I mute someone I generally want to do so forever.
