I got a demonstration of a new item last night that could impact estate owners and managers, a friend dared me to eject her from our sim and no matter what I did she stayed put. Eject and Eject and ban did squat. Will the new anti griefer tools work against this gadget?

I'm not sure about any new tools coming along but if the 'kick user from estate' function doesnt work from the view > region/estate > estate menu then the user and device should be bug reported.

Are any of the ban functions dependent on cooperation by the bannee's client?

Yes, Suzanne. I know for a fact that if you freeze someone and then try to eject/ban/teleport them home from your estate, they won't go. Their client will get an error about teleport being blocked. If the client simply doesn't teleport, then ejecting/banning won't work. Once they're gone, though, they won't be able to come back.
