Teleport Logout

For the past few weeks, half of the time I try to teleport all it manages to do is log me out. Most of the time I log back in and teleport but this is really really annoying. Is there a way to avoid getting logged out?

Not really, if you see its taking a long time for the blue bar to "load" click cancel quickly so you can try again. The Lindens have implemented an API to gather data on failed teleports, but so far...nothing has fruited so to say.

When I heard them talking about that, I figured it was just failure to get where you were going... not getting logged out of SL completely.

They also log abnormal disconnections. If you look at the latest statistics, nearly 1/4 of all SL sessions disconnect abnormally either through a crash or a sim going down.

Yep, Ive been getting this a LOT .... and guess what, its only been since I installed the new viewer. Go to tp and you get logged out completely and get the dreaded grey 'You have been logged out' window on the screen.

Im getting this problem a lot very distressing

Yes it is happing a lot lately. Once and a while the "really long" teleports actually teleport you but most of the time you will just get logged out.

Extremely annoying, especially since it seems to roll all your scripted attachments back to the state they were in, when you started your current session.

I have same problem since yesterday. Always when i try to TP me somewhere, blue bar take sometime and after loged out. If i choose cancel, i can do nothing and loged out too.

Traveling is an adventure! I tried to hit "Cancel" on a bad TP yesterday and got logged out!

When the client is having problems this happens very very offen. It starting occuring yet again these past week. Can`t believe this is still occuring.

It's been happening to me the past 2 weeks, about 50% of the time I teleport somewhere outside of my estate. To add insult to injury I usually get the 5 minute 'account unavailable' lockout whenever this happens as well.

But you can login within a few seconds after you get that message most of the time. Atleast I do.

Yes true sometime no need to wait limit time to log in. Well when i uninstall and reinstall SL problem resolve but if I wait few time back again.

I can login with in 20 seconds after

Whenever _I_ get that message I have to wait. Believe me, I try.

regardless of clearing cashe or not i can log i soon after.

Try this love, when you get logged out. Clear your cashe, then restart the Client. and then try. It might work for you! Give it a wing and a flight

I found a pseudo-workaround for failing TPs, at least as long as you try to TP to a location that you can see on the big map (landmark, search result, location of a friend who gave you "see me on the map". Just look at the destination on the map, and don't TP until the map has loaded. Helps, at least more often than not.

The most awesome thing just happened to me! While I was logging in I got to see my avatar for a second before the client crashed to desktop! I of course got the account blocked warning, so I tried the cache-clearing method to see if I could get back in.

And it didn't work. I tried! Hold me.

Oh you poor thing you I wonder if it has to do withthe connection? I never wait for no more then 1 min before I can login again. Did you kep trying?

This happens to me about 25-30% of the times I try to teleport. Worse, some days, better, some. It's a pain int the arse, and nothing to do about it. If I try to cancel a teleport that doesn't seem to be going through - DING - I'm logged out then too. SL is a mess.

Needless to say, vecicles are more useless than ever before, becuase I can on average travel through 3-4 sims before crashing, really hardcore like... Pathetic.

I've been getting this more frequently lately. It's pretty aggravating. And to add insult to injury, when I then log back in most of the time I can't move or teleport or standup. Just talk and sit on stuff. So I have to log back in one MORE time. And hope I don't get logged out the next time I teleport.
