To everyone i have finally found out what i have suspected for months.

most users "abuse reports" take THREE WEEKS or more to be "resolved" and then most of the time nothing happens

however there are certain situations where some folks have been banned within only MINUTES of a report being filled against them.

it turns out linden labs has a special little "team" for BIG Land owners

called

"The Concierge team" which has apparently a "special hotline" for MAJOR land owners.

apparently they will deal with any abuse reports within a swift mannor but everyone else who has to deal with the griefers the underage kids the assaulters and etc has to wait over THREE weeks. or more.

I hope everyone sees now how much Linden Labs really cares about its citizens..how the fat cats only really listen to the people with millions of lindens in there pockets and the rest of us just get BSd on.

QUESTION FOR THE LINDENS will you keep doing this?

well lindens how do you explain this to the most of us ciitizens who dont have money to spend thousands and thousands on land to get in the "special group" for real service...:

1) You're big "discovery"? Public knowledge. The lindens talk about it all the time. It's been in the blog god knows how many times, on the log-in screen announcements, you name it.

2) They don't ignore other users, they just pay more attention to the big spenders, which leads to...

3) Of COURSE they pay more attention to the big spenders. Every business does. You think your bank treats the guy worth 230 million dollars with the three mansions and seven cars and a boat the same as they treat the guy with 230 bucks in his checking account and a mortgage? Of course not. It's just common sense. You put the most of your effort to keeping the customers happy who have the most direct economic weight to swing if they get displeased.

oh, fer cryin'...

What did you expect, Emily? Equal treatment? Concierge level members have paid at least $1,700 US for the privilege, plus an additional $200-300 US per month.

You want first class treatment, then pay for a first class ticket.

Now, having said that, I will agree with you that three weeks is WAY too long to respond to an AR. LL definitely needs to improve that, for the quality of everyone's Second Life. Most companies will respond to a service request within 48 hours...for ANY class of users.

I'm curious...just who do you expect to "make" Linden Lab conform to your demands? It's their game, their world, their rules. You don't like the game, about all you can do is take your business elsewhere.

Only one problem...right now, there's no "elsewhere"...no competing virtual reality worlds.

I'm a Concierge user - and the Concierge team don't handle Abuse Reports that I'm aware of. Mostly they seem to assist with the issues that come up when holding a large amount of land, such as needing a sim restarted.

Are you referring to the concierge information group? When the population was smaller it was a good group to ask a linden question in but now its just a chat group for island owners. I can say that me personally with well over 2K a month in tier fees, buying auctions, and buying estates on a regular basis, doesn't get me any more or any less support than anyone else. This may be different for the big dogs like Anshe and Azure, but as far as I know theres no special treatment for certain residents.

I would be interested in knowing were you got this "classified info" because I think you were lied to.
