Wonder, what happened. I was in for several hours, just needed a relog and after that "unable to connect to second life" - cant login again. Client ist also unable to show the login screen (access denied) but when I try to access it directly, no problems at all.
Anyone else has this problem or is it just me? - Any suggestions?

Yeah, just happened to me when I logged on.... and like you, I hit connect and logged right in. With 40k+ on, the login server(s)? are busy little bees, and the connection to get the login screen info is probably timing out or something along those lines.. with that many people, the number of people logging in at a given moment is probably a litte to high for the server(s) to handle...luckily you can skate right in despite the message.
Does anyone know? is there one login server, or multiple ones?

A single server could not manage the mass logins, so there are many.
LL stated now the problem with the login screen but said, we should nevertheless be able to login - and as ever in a problem cause they closed comments.
I wonder how the hell we should be able to tell them about an acut problem if they close their ears anytime by closing the comments.
NO; Lindens, I am sorry, WE ARE NOT ABLE TO LOGIN and please open comments in the case of a problem especially when the support portal is not working.
