Am I correct that llEmail() isn't enabled in the Preview grid? It certainly doesn't work for me.

And though I can't test it, would I be right in guessing that XML-RPC isn't enabled either?

I'd love to test the notary in the preview grid - it does do some pretty heavy LSL... but alas, without e-mail and XML-RPC, I can't test it much!

AFAIK, XMLRPC and Email are disabled on the Preview grid. This has been asked before, and seems to have a satisfactory answer. (if a little dated)

Yes and even though gom is no longer around there still are slexchange and slboutique atms, which for cash on preview may deliver items to the maingrid or even allow you to deposit cash from preview and withdraw via maingrid.

Email and XML-RPC Disabled

You guys are correct, Email and XML-RPC is disabled outside of the Linden Lab offices. Internally we test them on a regular basis. I last confirmed they were working yesterday.

The reason we firewall off these services is that if service providers don't check for the incoming host, their services can easily be interrupted and damaged by activity on the preview grids.

Sometime in the far future we plan on allowing selected communication with service providers who opt-in to receiving outbound SL communication. We just don't have enough staff here at Linden Lab currently to support that sort of program. Sorry for the inconvenience.
