Hi there! I've been recently messing with new ideas and concepts with the currently implemented features in the 1.7 preview, and I have two seemingly interesting developmental questions related to having scripted objects attached to the hud: 1) I noticed that llSetText does not work with objects that are attached to the hud, is this a bug? Or has this been made intentional? And if so, why? I can't really see the benefits in not having llSetText for hud attached items, since it takes more resources to create say a display board of prims, that rotate through alpha-numeric textures to display text information. 2) Particles, when object generating such is attached to the hud, I noticed that particles are no longer generated. Is this a bug? Was this done intentionally? Or was there some bigger idea of creating a 'hud only' particle system, where only the particles could only be seen by the local user? These are both known issues. llSetText requires a bit of re-writing work, but is definatly something we want. I'm not sure about particle effects. For sure, they would only be viewable by the person with the hud attached, but I'm not sure that we have any specific plans for that at this point.

I'd also like Shiny if possible (not sure how much it is). Glad to hear llSetText is wanting.
