I am so upset and disgusted with second life and it just keeps getting worse. It seems there is no end to the problems with this program. I do not have an old or slow computer or out of date graphics card. However, I can't see things, I can't change clothes, I can't get things out of my inventory to work as a designer. The inventory contanly expands to a very detailed level and is a pain to find any thing evenwith the search feature.
these things persist for hours and hours and relogs and relogs.
Any idea if we will ever be able to use the program againw without constant problems?

Afew more irritating problems i forgot to mention

I also forgot to mention these irritating problems. As a designer and builder, I make many items only to return to the game and find that they have totally disappeared . So I have just wasted hours and hours of time making things only to have them just totally disappear .... including copies of them in the inventory.
Also on the other hand. I delete things and come back and find that they have not been deleted: Items, friends. etc....
One day i paid all my rent for my vendors and shops only to return to get more notices that the payments had not been recorded, so I had to repay.
these constant problems a ruining the program for me. Is there any relief on the way?

Well, personally I've found this version to be significantly better than the previous several.
As for your inventory problems, I do feel for you there. It seems that some time recently, there was a change such that the system will ALWAYS redownload your inventory when you log back in, and while it is streaming, search is basically fubared, as is most manual looking. Relogging will only make this worse as it starts the process again.
The only workaround I've found it to let it finish streaming your inventory. It is easy to do - as soon as you log in, open the inventory, and type a single character into the search. You should see the number in the inventory title bar start to tick up.
You can play as normal, just don't close the inventory window, and, once the number stops when it has streamed in all your items, the inventory features start to work relatively normally, and as they have in the past. I have a little over 12,000 items, so it is no small invnetory, although I know that there are people with many times that
Hope that helps

Start the client, but don't log in, click the prefs button, go to the network tab, and click Clear Cache. Then Exit SL completely, and restart it. This time, log in, and try what I suggested above to force your inventory to stream down.
