In the latest version of the RC client 1.18.6 there is no longer the option to remove the undershirt and underpants layer via the edit then take off clothing menu or via the pie menu. You can only remove these layers by "take off all clothes" option or finding them in inventory and taking them off there.

While the issue mentions the Mac veiwer, it applies to the windows viewer as well.

Sounds like the Lindens have figured out how to stop all those nude AVs from running around the grid. :p

not quite.

yes the text is gone where it used to be, but if you click the blank space where its supposed to have the words, it still works.

Is that in the pie menu? They seem to be altogether missing from the main menu :/

Whatever is going on, they do still show up as worn in inventory, so that's another way to manage it for now.

It affects both Mac and Windows, and apparently also affects the Edit > Remove Clothing menu choices. I suspect that a code snippet that is only supposed to kick in on the teen grid is being activated on the main grid, since they aren't allowed to have removable undies on the teen grid.

I voted for the JIRA item and made that observation there about teen grid code.

And it is indeed teen grid related.

In order to create the menu bar so you can get at preferences now that the logon screen is a webform, they run the menu initialise code before logon whereas before it ran after logon.

Problem is that the menu initialisation code checks which grid you have logged onto and configures the menus accordingly!

Let's hope the reverse hadn't happened on the teen grid then.
