Anyone know if the new version will allow ATI 7000 cards to see textures? I'd love to not have to buy a new graphics card for her machine...

Damn! That card was a piece of junk 4 years ago!
You should seriously consider getting something better.
Any cheapass nvidia FX will be light-years ahead of that.

I'm actually astonished that you can even RUN SL on a Radeon 7000. That's crazy. Honestly, you could probably find a FREE video card that would outperform it, if money is a problem.
Edit: Seriously, how did you get it to work?

Edit: Seriously, how did you get it to work? Dunno. Just had the drivers from ATI loaded, and installed SL. You can see avatars fine, but textures on everything else are transparent clouds... Other than that, it worked fine and fast... |
