Damn this is annoying. This was fixed in a recent build but now the problem is BACK yet again! Moving a linked prim can sometimes (don't know what causes it--perhaps just vertical movement but I've seen it happen horizontally too) move ALL of the linked prims in odd ways totally out of position!

This still happens, though not as often. However, linked prims will also now (since SL 1.9) snap back from some arbitrary position if a prim is unlinked.
