I've tried copy/pasting in my inventory, both a shape and an object and it no longer works. Is this a problem with the new client, or asset server issues? This is really annoying since I'm trying to back up a shape before I change it.

I just read in the Blog that "Ctrl v" will still paste the copy. I'm not at a computer with SL on it so I can't comfirm that it works.

Yes it does, just got that advice from Live Help. So standard keyboard shortcuts still work. Ctrl+C to copy, Ctrl+V to paste. Though I have no idea if this effects the Mac or Linux clients.

On a mac, i'm able to copy only one item at a time using the menus. To paste in a folder you have to select another item and choose paste. :(

BUT Command (Apple) - C and Command (apple) - V are working just like you said above

The property window/tabs are messed up though, try checking properties on ten items and you get ten separate windows instead of the one window with ten tabs.

The paste command from right click menu apparently fails now if you try to paste the item in the same folder the original you're trying to copy is placed. So you can right-click copy, right-click paste into another folder, then drag the item back to its original place.

Seems to be a silly side-effect of one of fixes listed in the patch notes, but it's quite amazing how different and odd things they manage to break while fixing stuff o.O;
