My land is now unsuable and has been getting that way for the last 4-5 days. Objects don't rezz or take an incredably long tome to rezz, music streams are constantly interrupted, prim capacity is reduced because group land doesn't seem to be linked anymore - Lag is the worst I've ever experienced.

I've had similar reports from all over the grid including islands - I think what is also frustrating is to see all the networks status 'resolved' and 'completed' issues that seem to be far from resolved and completed.

This is a meltdown for my site we can't do anything.

I just did a bit of land redristributing yesterday and all the group linking seems to work normaly, also building works at normal speed.
This was on my own private island (Kitten House) and not on mainland.
Only isue I had yesterday was the lower body textures not loading even after rebaking or editing appearance but that got fixed after a relog.

Tarak,

This sounds like a problem that a sim restart would fix. Are you concierge level, or is another landowner in the sim? Logging into live chat, a Linden can restart the sim in a minute or two.

If you can't find a concierge member, file a ticket with a clear, concise explanation of the problem, and the sim name spelled correctly, and ask that they restart the sim. The Linden who gets the ticket can do that very quickly and easily without much time spent on their part (so they're likely to get on it quickly).

Thanks I have tried the ticket approach but no results yet - I must admit I thought Live Chat (ie. in world help) was long since dead - think of me with Mickey Mouse Ears - how do you access live chat? And just what is concierge level? the amount of tier I've paid I should be a life time member!

I have talked with members of a number of groups and they all seem to report similar problems - I think it may be more than sim wide.

Sorry, I assumed someone else would answer this... Here is what defines who has concierge access:

From: SL support information

Concierge Accounts: If you pay Linden Lab $125 per month or greater in Land fees (mainland or private estate), you have access to all Basic and Premium services (see above) plus a dedicated support team that can be reached by phone, support ticket, and live text chat from 1am-6pm PST Monday-Friday. The Concierge team will soon be providing twenty-four hour a day support, please check back here or keep your eye on the blog for updates. Please note that the grid is monitored twenty-four hours a day for offline regions and required rollbacks.

There are also periodic rolling re-starts that will occur without any initiation on your part. Is your sim still giving you problems?

Yes - I haven't answered ealier because I just don't play that much now - it isn't worth the hassle.

Addition: To be fair I don't seem to get logged off anywhere as much as before but the package loss is high, silly things still happen to prims, in the top right of the screen the two bars spend more time red and yellow than green and I needed to re-deed most of my land back into the group - this meant I was forced into a higher teir level just for a mere 2 metres - stuffed if I am enjoying this experience anymore

Credit where credit is due - over the last 24 hours the performance on my land has improved - less package dropped, better ping rate and I have been able to increase my maximum bandwidth a little with no noticable downside. Is this system wide?
