Chat lag

The past two days unbearable chat lag and it even is posting chat backwards. Same goes for when writing in the profile area. Anyone else having this problem?

Time Dilation in the sim you're in sounds like the culprit. I made a hotline post recently on a similar issue here: /invalid_link.html

Open CTRL-SHIFT-1 and check the current time Dilation of the Sim you're in the next time this happens.

Anything below 1.00 means the server is getting overloaded - from my experience - when it starts dropping below 0.50 - you'll experience extreme chat lag.

If it persists, and the Time Dilation isn't explainable, I'd contact support during the day at the 800 number & chat with Lee or Michael about it.

Live help or the Liasons on duty are probably inequiped to handle this sort of issue.

Thanks for your feedback I just checked sim is at 1.00 but its been everywhre and some others are experiencing it to..I ll give them a call tomorrow...Thanks again

Well this is what really causes your public chat a run for its money. "MULTI LINE SINGLE MESSAGE" like HELLO all in font form! OMG does this lag the public chat! Its not only lags people to death but its rude and childish. Think about it if 2 people do this say 2 times or 3 times each can you image the lag in the public chat?! This is caused by a bug inthe sl programming and should be taken care of in the next few updates!!!!!!!!!! THE F****** SOONER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THE BETTER!!!!!!!!!!!
