Dear Linden Labs,
I think it would benefit you greatly to have one member of staff on site who is paid to use SL each and every day to build, make clothes, script, and just basically live there. They should NOT be given a preview, not the latest greatest, but use the deployed version like the rest of us.
That person will be able to give instant and valuable feedback (assuming they are listened to) and save you 1000s of less considered messages about the annoyances that exist right now for your loyal but pained customers - yes that's us. You need to feel that pain too and an on-site resident is the best way in my humble opinion.
Please consider this suggestion seriously. I believe it will in the long run save you many $ in support effort and probably make you many $ when you have a really smooth system running as a result of that fast feedback loop.
The best product marketing is word of mouth... but then I guess that's not marketing, just a product that sells itself.
If you want us to recommend new people, then take away the pain. I have no wish to introduce people only to have to spend hours helping them work around "known issues" as time goes on.
