Camera jump is an option, you can turn it off now YAY!

I love it, but I'm so used to the other way I keep going "Huh, why isn't it editing?" when it really is! :)

Sorry multiple drag and drop still doesn't work, I just tried it.

No multiple drasg and drop yet :( . Thats one of SL's most irritating features at the moment. You buy an object with 50 things in the contents and spend the next age trying to drag stuff one by one onto a constantly moving inventory folder system. Please add multiple drag and drop soon.

I'm dissapointed you can't multi-drag as well. Would love to see this sometime soon... please.

There isn't?
I mean, they've got multiple select working... Multiple move must be the next step. Don't get discouraged, I'm sure they're working on it :>

Hate to burst your bubble, but multiple select has worked for a LONG time now. I wouldn't count on multiple move being implemented any time soon based on multiple select working. It's allowed for shift select, and ctrl select since I started last April.

Mmm. Yeah. I guess the fact that it looks different made me think it was a new thing. ^_^;;
The funny this is that I *had* noticed multiple select in 1.5... weird.
Sorry :>

You can multi-select inventory items, but about the only function that you can then apply is delete.

a trick you can use is multi select some things in inventory then copy. that works too. then paste where you want to move them. then go back and multi select the originals and delete. save a few steps.

This can be especially handy when used with two inventory windows open side-by-side. One window showing the destination folder, the other window showing the source folder. To open up multiple inventory windows, first open your inventory, then from the menu in the inventory window go to File > New Window.

I have faith this in in the future roadmap for Second Life by the Lindens.

I'll be thrilled when we have fully implemented multi-item drag-'n'-drop. Then we'll be able to look back on threads like this and wax nostalgic because such inefficiency will be a thing of the past. One of the biggest boons for me would be in the photo/texture sort category, because I find I acculumate so many new snaps and stuff, and then have to bring it all over -- one after another. You can imagine after a few hundred times, how redundant this gets. ;)

Bobby and anyone else who is wondering, Trimming Hedges has made a handy script called "GiveAllContents" which does just that. Instructions are handily provided inside the script, so double-click and get getting. Bobby, I'm gonna drop this on your Inv, and anyone else who wants it, IM me inworld.

Thanks Torley, thats much appreciated. I suspect I might have probs with an object made no mod finding that I cant put the script within it's contents. And still has to be sorted once in the default folder it's dropped into. Drag and drop would solve a lot of problems.

The script is still a big help.

Zuzi the copy & paste thing only works if an item is copyable. If you just bought a box of no copy stuff which most is, your still stuffed.

Just as a side note, when i buy a box from the store with the items in it.
I just set it so the contents are available for sale and click buy.

If only I was able to select all of my photos or even my photo album folder and transfer it to my harddrive with one click I would be so happy..... no matter how much it cost me !!! I am a photographer in real life and this camera in second life just TURNS ME ON..... Therefore I insist on keeping every last image I have taken in game ..... and that is HUNDREDS!!!!! Having multi select in clothing or object folders would rock as well...... However a CHECK OFF BOX would be nice to add in front of ANY FILES in ALL FOLDERS for selective choices .... this way if I would want to skip some items I would have no problem doing so .....

THANKS LINDENS 4 THE FUN GAME!!!

uh... *cough*

*points to the 'snapshot to harddrive option*

Why aren't you using that? Better quality, saves exporting them. Saves having them crap up your inventory ingame.

Given that this proposal has been accepted, shouldn't the 700+ people get their 1400+ votes back to use elsewhere?

I believe this only occurs once it's been implemented (or is being worked on), not once it's been acknowledged.

Can we take this off the vote list and free up those votes people have?

BLESSED BE!

We finally have multiselect.

I remember how many times this was asked... and now, at last, it is real, it is present, it is relevant, and THE WISH HAS BEEN ANSWERED! :)

Can whoever is in charge of the vote list TAKE THIS OFF AND FREE UP THE 1400+ VOTES STILL ATTRIBUTED TO IT!?!

Jeez -- is it so hard for the Lindens to do the jobs they are paid for?

But but ... what if the feature disappears if they free the votes? Do you want to risk that? :p
