ok when i have the build tool open and i hit escape my camera view stays in place if i checked that option. that's good.

but when i right click the ground and choose Create my camera view goes shooting towards that spot. that's bad. if i unchecked the Edit Camera Movement option then editting shouldn't move my camera unless i double hit escape or walk. please don't move the camera when i enter Edit mode.

I agree with this.

Thirded. I usually switc focus to a spot of ground before creating prims, and I've always found it strange that the camera will rotate some arbitrary amount around the focus point when selecting "Create". It's only when using the pie menu, though: if you select "Edit" from the menu (control-3), the Edit box comes up without your camera being adjusted. All the Lindens need to do is turn off the "adjust camera" when selecting the "Create" pie option.

fourthed. If I uncheck that box I don't want my camera making any movement on its own.
