I can´t login with any viewer. When I started the viewer I get only a white screen and
the waiting cursor. I have tried to install the viewer new, but the problem is the same.
Has anyone a Tip what I can do?

Hard to say...we don't know what viewer(s) you've tried, what kind of computer you have, how you installed the viewers, or what other programs are running.
Some general tips:
- uninstall all SL viewers. *Manually* browse to and delete C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Application Data\SecondLife.
- Turn off software firewalls (assuming you have a hardware firewall in your DSL or cable modem or router. Do not run without ANY firewalls!)
- Turn off antivirus and spyware monitors (temporarily).
- check to make sure you have the latest video drivers for your graphics card, and the latest drivers for your motherboard's chipset and networking.
- re-download the main SL viewer (1.21.16) and Save File.
- Open the file you downloaded and install Second Life to the suggested default location.

- Open the file you downloaded and install Second Life to the suggested default location. This is the dumbest horse shit I've ever seen. No software should require this kind of thing--ever. So they fire the CTO, switch out CEOs, and its all still broken. Nice and smooth. |
