Ugh. Love but hate

I love the options, but I hate the lighting on my avatar. My skins look like crap. Gone is the beautiful sky that we once had on our sim... Being someone who is just starting to release skin packs, I am concerned how this lighting issue is going to affect business. How can I expect anyone to like them when my own avatar looks like crap wearing them? Facelights don't work for crap anymore... I've started customizing my own facelight.. it is an improvement, but still is crap. I've fiddled and fiddled with the environmental settings and can't seem to find one that makes skins look great.
