For the second time I have tried to upgrade my original Sound Blaster AudigyPlatinum card to the latest drivers and players. This time the sound stayed until I installed Their "Play Center." With that installed I get no SL sounds at all. Win XP (Pro)'s system restore to the point before I installed the Play Center restored sound to SL. Does anyone know what in that program is causing this as everything I've tried short of System Restore had not worked?
The updates were for the 2003 driver update, its patch and all associated programs:

Did you uninstall and reinstall SL after updating the sound drivers ?
